I think if you've successfully avoided it up until now, you should count your blessings and keep doing whatever it is you are doing. You don't have to be a grownup for people to take you seriously. I have listened more intently and been more amazed, mesmerized and even entertained by the things children have said to me than anything an “adult” has ever said. And I take children very seriously. They have no ulterior motives, no agenda, no politics. They just tell you how it is. You have to take that seriously. They enjoy life more and worry less. I guess what I’m trying to say, is I think you’re perfect the way you are. Don’t grow up! Seriously Being grown up is vastly over-rated.
