Okay, there is this girl I don’t like very much. She did hurtful things in the past to someone I love dearly. Easiest and shortest way to get on my hit list. Today I was reading over her old (five years) blog - and became abolutely livid. To the point that I wanted to e-mail her about her insensitivity.
The person I love has had a history of having a problem, a type of dependency. It is not an issue anymore. It is something that is not talked about much because the person views it as shameful. But this witch not only had it posted on the blog, she had told random people in her life about it. IT WAS NOT HER CALL. Not only did she do that, she BLOGGED about it. It is out there for millions of people to see. She is easily identifiable as the author of the blog and the person she is talking about is just as identifiable.
I have asked Robin how I can blog about things and only let a limited number of people see what they say. Because I don’t want everyone in the world to know what is going on in my life and in the lives of my loved ones. Does no one else out there have this same respect? I know things about this person that I could blog about, but I should just get over it. It’s been almost five years since the post was written. But I’m a mama wolf about my cubs! Threaten them (life, liberty, or happiness), and I will get you.
I probably should work on that whole forgiveness thing.

Today we planted new shrubs in the front yard. We (me, Robin, Mama, Daddy, and Laurel Marie) dug up or cut down three shrubs that I hate and planted six new ones. There is an old one that I am still on the fence about. I might want to pull it up as well, but I’m giving myself two weeks to see if I start to like it.
Since we’ve never planted before, this is our grand experiment to see if either of us has a green thumb - remember, we are the people that killed a cactus. Hopefully this works. We did plant in the front yard, so if everything goes south, everyone on our street will know. (We might be in trouble because the directions on one of the shrubs said “Water as needed.” How am I supposed to know when it is needed!?!)

Today, Brandy went (unofficially) to find out what kind of niephew I will be having. Although they tried for an hour (and used two types of ultrasounds), the little punk had its ankles crossed! They couldn’t tell what it was! Before we went in for Laurel’s sex determining sonogram, I talked to her and told her to get in a good position for us to see. When they did the sonogram, Laurel’s butt was directly on Brandy’s stomach, so there was no doubt that she was a little girl.
Brandy called to tell us what she had been up to. She was advised to drink a Coke and come back. I asked her to hold the phone up to her stomach so that I could tell Niephew the same thing I told Laurel. Unfortunately, Niephew listens to Aunt Nink as much as his/her big sister does now and kept its little ankles crossed the whole time.Â
From today’s heartrate, everyone is convinced Niephew will be called “Caleb” come September. Brandy goes in two weeks for her “official” sex-determining sonogram. Until then, I’m mad at Niephew for not listening to his/her Aunt Nink.
