Review: Star Trek

This movie was incredibly good. For somenoe who knew of the original Star Trek and had remembered seeing it and knew of the nostalgia but didn't remember much more than that, this movie captured the feeling of what I felt Star Trek to be. Even better, they even dealt with an issue (time travel) which is almost always ludicrous and campy, and managed to make it semi-reasonable. I enjoyed the action and characters in the movie, and I look forward to seeing another one. They have another one in the works, right? Surely?

I was really blown away by the movie. I loved all the inside jokes, and the roles were spot-on. Amazing. The only downside was the constant shift-pan lightbloom.
